More accurate torque-sleep formulas have been developed based on the equivalent circuit of a multicontour induction motor (IM). Methods of taking into account the saturation and skin effects on machine parameters are discussed. High-order and space harmonics and their dependences on the rotor speed are also included in the analysis.
