Probabilistic Computing via Gate‐Tunable Random Telegraph Noise
Intrinsic random telegraph noise in metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors is harnessed to create gate‐tunable probabilistic bits. By modulating carrier‐trapping dynamics, the device produces stochastic binary outputs with a continuous bias‐to‐probability transfer.

Computational analysis of the temperature improvement of electric asynchronal motors
In the development of electric machines as a whole, as well as asynchronous motors, in particular, the limit values of temperature are the key factors that affect the efficiency of the overall design. Since the usual load of asynchronous motors often occurs, hence, the estimation of temperature rise with the help of mathematical modeling tools and ...

A novel bias‐programmable shortwave infrared (SWIR) vision sensor is developed using multi‐junction colloidal quantum dots (QDs). Under varying applied voltage, the back‐to‐back rectifying junctions effectively tune trapping centers to switch the device between high‐speed photodetector and persistent synapse modes.

Spontaneous Cyclic Levitation of Glycerol‐Water Droplets at Low Pressures
Under low pressure, a minute glycerol addition transforms the chaotic dynamics of freezing water droplets into cyclic levitation. Freeze‐concentration preserves liquid pathways that relax expansion‐induced stress, while freezing point depression weakens asymmetric vaporization recoil.

Fast charging drives graphite anodes far from equilibrium, yet where lithium plating begins has remained hidden. Operando optical microscopy here reveals that neighboring regions advance through the staging sequence asynchronously, and that domains reaching advanced lithiation earliest become the preferential sites where plating initiates.

The aspect of vector control using the asynchronous traction motor in locomotives [PDF]
The article examines curves controlling asynchronous traction motors increasingly used in locomotive electric drives the main task of which is to create a tractive effort-speed curve of an ideal locomotive Fk = f(v), including a hyperbolic area the curve

Ensuring the start-up of asynchronous electric motors
A study is being conducted of the conditions that ensure the start of electric motors powered by transformer substations and operating in parallel with each other, during which it was found that with a decrease in voltage, it is important that during the start-up period, to ensure its further stable operation of electric motors, the starting torque was
