Next-State Equations of Asynchronous Sequential Machines
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1972A theorem and two applications are given here to solve the problem of selecting state assignments of asynchronous machines. The assignment has to produce a set of simple next-state equations. The proofs use the algebraic structures defined by Hartmanis.

Phase alignment using asynchronous state machines
10th International Symposium on Asynchronous Circuits and Systems, 2004. Proceedings., 2004This work presents the circuit design for phase alignment in a digital frequency synthesizer (DFS), taking advantage of asynchronous level-mode state machines. An example of a real case asynchronous design is presented that provides superior results to alternative solutions.

Dynamic Performances of Asynchronous Machines
Journal of the Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics, 2013The dynamic performance of electrical machines is affected by low and unbalanced voltages, frequency variations in its supply systems and pulsating load torques. In this paper the d-q axis model in the synchronous reference frame is used in the dynamic analysis on the performance of an asynchronous machine working under a no- load, unbalanced voltages ...

Handbook of Asynchronous Machine with Variable Speed
2013This handbook deals with the asynchronous machine in its close environment. It was born from a reflection on this electromagnetic converter whose integration in industrial environments takes a wide part. Previously this type of motor operated at fixed speed, from now on it has been integrated more and more in processes at variable speed.

Deterministic Asynchronous Two-machine Lines
2017Asynchronous automated production lines with finite buffer capacity producing discrete parts are adopted in the production of most of the mid to high volume products and are therefore very common in real plants. Existing ana- lytical method to model such kind of systems are based on simplifying assumptions which however are becoming less and less ...
