The evolution of the atmospheric noble gas composition during the past few decades has hardly been studied because, in contrast to many other atmospheric gases, systematic time-series measurements have not been available.

Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

High-Resolution Remote Sensing of the Gradient Richardson Number in a Megacity Boundary Layer
The Gradient Richardson Number (Ri) is an important parameter for appraising the stability and turbulence exchange at the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL). However, high-resolution measurements of Ri profiles are rarely reported, especially in megacities.

HIV‐1 establishes immediate latency in T cells expressing the viral Nef protein
Nef is a viral protein often omitted from HIV‐1 reporter viruses. Consequently, its role in viral latency is unclear. We developed three novel dual reporter HIV‐1 derivatives that express Nef and allow for detection of latent and productive infection. Using these reporters, we show that Nef does not affect the establishment of immediate viral latency ...

Anchorage‐independent and faster growth in clonal population from UV‐irradiated NER‐deficient cells
UV‐irradiated cells expressing a DDB2 mutant protein unable to interact with PCNA (DDB2PCNA‐) form clones able to grow without anchorage. Different experimental approaches reveal heterogeneity in cell cycle regulation and drug response within these clones, emphasizing the crucial role of the DDB2‐PCNA interaction in preventing cellular transformation ...

Extinction correction and on-sky calibration of SCUBA-2
Commissioning of SCUBA-2 included a program of skydips and observations of calibration sources intended to be folded into regular observing as standard methods of source flux calibration and to monitor the atmospheric opacity and stability.

A wind field downscaling strategy based on domain segmentation and transfer functions [PDF]
This paper presents a novel methodology for mesoscale‐to‐microscale downscaling of near‐surface wind fields. The model chain consists on the Weather Research and Forecast mesoscale model and the Alya‐CFDWind microscale model (assuming neutral stability).

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
