Synthesis and characterization of novel polysiloxane based ABA-type triblock copolymers using ATRP

open access: yese-Polymers, 2013
Novel polysiloxane based ABA-type triblock copolymers having a secondary amine at the junction point were synthesized using a combination of ring opening equilibration polymerization (ROEP), Michael addition and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP)

Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) and Organometallic Mediated Radical Polymerization (OMRP) of Styrene Mediated by Diaminobis(phenolato)iron(II) Complexes: A DFT Study [PDF]

open access: yesInorganic Chemistry, 2014
This study has addressed the radical polymerization of styrene mediated by the diaminobis(phenolate) complexes [Fe(O-2,4-Y2C6H2-5-CH2)2NCH2CH2NMe2], abbreviated as [Fe(II)]. The system is known to be well controlled when Y = Cl but not when Y = alkyl. The control was proposed to occur by a dual ATRP+OMRP mechanism.

Synthesis of a Denitrification Adsorbent with Large Surface Area and Specific Pore Structure for the Removal of Indole from Fuel Oil

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2015
We herein report the successful synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) by surface imprinting methods. The synthesized MIPs were subsequently used to selectively adsorb indole from fuel oil.

Research on Atomic Transfer Radical Polymerization Modified Lactic Acid Bacteria and Their Removal of Aflatoxin B1

open access: yesShipin gongye ke-ji
To study the new method of aflatoxin removal by Lactobacillus plantarum materials, and provide a new idea for the efficient biological removal of aflatoxin B1, this study used the polydopamine-based atom transfer radical polymerization (p-ATRP) and cell ...

Conjugated cross-linked phosphine as broadband light or sunlight-driven photocatalyst for large-scale atom transfer radical polymerization

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
The use of light to regulate photocatalyzed reversible deactivation radical polymerization (RDRP) under mild conditions, especially driven by broadband light or sunlight directly, is highly desired.

Nearly monodisperse unimolecular micelles via chloro-based atom transfer radical polymerization

open access: yesGiant, 2021
Fabrication of unimolecular micelles with uniform sizes and well-controlled structure is currently a big challenge. Herein, we report an easy-to-handle protocol for the preparation of nearly monodisperse unimolecular micelles via atom transfer radical ...

Synthesis of well-defined polypeptide-based diblock copolymers [PDF]

open access: yesPolímeros
We report an efficient protocol to synthesize rod-coil diblock copolymers of an α-helical polypeptide and poly(4-vinyl pyridine) via a combination of “living” ring-opening polymerization of α-amino acid N-carboxyanhydrides at 0 °C, polymer end-group ...

Axially Ligated Mesohemins as Bio-Mimicking Catalysts for Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Copper is the most common metal catalyst used in atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), but iron is an excellent alternative due to its natural abundance and low toxicity compared to copper.

An Efficient Detection Platform Based on Mesoporous Au@Cr2O3 Particles with Schwarz P Surface for Precise Periodontitis Metabolite Profiling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A non‐invasive periodontitis diagnosis platform was developed using Au nanoparticles‐decorated mesoporous Cr2O3 (Au@mCr2O3) particles with Schwarz P surface as matrix for saliva metabolic fingerprinting (SMFs) analysis via MALDI‐MS. With the assistance of machine learning of SMFs, this platform enables efficient diagnosis and the screening of potential
