A Facile Catalytic Route for the Preparation of Poly(methyl acrylate)/Clay Nanocomposites
Poly(methyl acrylate) was synthesized via ATRP and subsequently utilized for the preparation of polymer/clay nanocomposites through an organocatalytic transesterification strategy. The catalytic approach enabled effective interaction between PMA chains and montmorillonite layers under mild conditions.

Multi‐Responsive PAA/PNIPAM Semi‐IPN Hydrogel Properties Controlled by PAA Topology
Polymer topology governs hydrogel behavior in semi‐interpenetrating networks. Cyclic poly(acrylic acid) enables controlled pH‐responsive swelling, improved stability, and enhanced deformability compared to linear analogues, while linear systems show higher strength during thermal de‐swelling.

Synthesis of PMMA-b-PU-b-PMMA tri-block copolymers through ARGET ATRP in the presence of air
ARGET (activators regenerated by electron transfer) ATRP (atom transfer radical polymerization) has been successfully performed (in flasks fitted with rubber septa without the need for use of Schlenk line) in the presence of limited amount of air and ...

Azurins With Tunable Reduction Potentials as Redox Mediators for Extracellular Electron Transfer
Electroactive microbe Shewanella oneidensis reduced non‐native electron transfer protein, azurin, via extracellular electron transfer (EET) with dependence on azurin redox potential. Utilizing azurin in EET‐driven bio‐(electro)catalysis improved fuel cell current and accelerated textile dye decolorization.

B‐Modified Ti3C2Tx Electrode via H3BO3 Annealing Strategy for Enhanced Supercapacitance
A simple boron modified Ti3C2Tx surface strategy is developed by covalently anchoring boron species onto the Ti3C2Tx surface via B–O–Ti bonds to significantly improve the specific capacitance. The assembled symmetric supercapacitor delivers a high energy density of 7.94 Wh kg−1.

Abstract The development of highly reducing photoredox catalysts (PCs) has brought forth new approaches to activating strong chemical bonds for small molecule and polymer synthesis. Organocatalyzed atom transfer radical polymerization (O‐ATRP) is a polymerization methodology that uses organic PCs for the synthesis of well‐defined ...
