Biocatalytically Initiated Precipitation Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) as a Quantitative Method for Hemoglobin Detection in Biological Fluids [PDF]
The hemoglobin content of blood is an important health indicator, and the presence of microscopic amounts of hemoglobin in places where it normally does not occur, e.g. in blood plasma or in urine, is a sign of diseases such as hemolytic anemia or urinary tract infections.

Engineered surface strategies to manage dental implant‐related infections
Abstract When exposed to the oral environment, dental implants, like natural surfaces, become substrates for microbial adhesion and accumulation, often leading to implant‐related infections—one of the main causes of implant failure. These failures impose significant costs on patients, clinicians, and healthcare systems.

New Biobased Polyester Polyols With Tunable Tg Values From 4‐Vinylguaiacol‐Derived Monomers
Biobased low‐molecular‐weight polyesters were obtained by ROCOP of guaiacol‐derived epoxides with cyclic anhydrides. Varying the length of the acyl moieties on the epoxides and the cyclic anhydride structures, it is possible to tune the Tg's within an 80 ºC wide temperature range.
