From Frazier-Jawerth characterizations of Besov spaces to Wavelets and Decomposition spaces

open access: yes, 2016
This article describes how the ideas promoted by the fundamental papers published by M. Frazier and B. Jawerth in the eighties have influenced subsequent developments related to the theory of atomic decompositions and Banach frames for function spaces ...

Atomic Decomposition via Projective Group Representations

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 1996
This paper gives a survey of the Feichtinger-Gröchenig theory combined with a generalization to projective representation. The author also points out the connections to the existing theory for frame decomposition. The main part is given in Section 6. Here the atomic decomposition theorem is stated. He also shows how to construct coherent Hilbert frames

Spinodal Decomposition of Atomic Nuclei [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
During the multifragmentation of atomic nuclei it seems that identical (or almost identical) initial conditions are leading to very different partitions of the system in interaction. In such a case it is necessary to develop approaches that are able to describe the observed diversity of the final channels. On the other hand the multifragmentation being

Atomic decomposition of characters and crystals

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematics, 2021
Lascoux stated that the type A Kostka-Foulkes polynomials K_{lambda,mu}(t) expand positively in terms of so-called atomic polynomials. For any semisimple Lie algebra, the former polynomial is a t-analogue of the multiplicity of the dominant weight mu in the irreducible representation of highest weight lambda.

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

The atomic decomposition in 𝐿¹(𝑅ⁿ) [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2007
In this paper we present an atomic decomposition of integrable functions. As an application we compute the distance of f f in L 1 ( R n ) L^{1}(R^n) to the Hardy space H 1 (

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy study of high-k CeO2/La2O3 stacked dielectrics

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2014
This work presents a detailed study on the chemical composition and bond structures of CeO2/La2O3 stacked gate dielectrics based on x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) measurements at different depths.

Novel Tailoring of Ternary ZnS‐MXene‐TiO2 Nanocomposite Heterojunction and Its Tunable Electrochemical Properties With Enhanced Photocatalytic Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
ZnS‐MXene‐TiO2 nanocomposite heterojunction for photocatalytic decomposition of this methylene blue dye (MB) greatly improves light absorption, charge separation, and active site area. Two‐dimensional MXene forms nanocomposites by easily combining them with 0D (quantum dots), 1D (tube and wire), 2D (plane and sheet), and 3D (particle and lamellar ...

Spectral Theory and Hardy Spaces for Bessel Operators in Non-Standard Geometries

open access: yesMathematics
This paper develops novel results in the harmonic analysis of Bessel operators, extending their theory to higher-dimensional and non-Euclidean spaces. We present a refined framework for Hardy spaces associated with Bessel operators, emphasizing atomic ...
