Atomicity of batches in stream processing

Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, 2017
Stream processing is about processing continuous streams of data by programs in a workflow. Continuous execution is discretized by grouping input stream tuples into batches and using one batch at a time for the execution of programs. As source input batches arrive continuously, several batches may be processed in the workflow simultaneously.

ATOMICITY AND CONCURRENCY CONTROL IN PROCESS CALCULI

Fundamenta Informaticae, 1997
A process calculus where atomic actions cooperate via explicit synchronization policies is presented. Bisimulation semantics for the calculus is provided with a sound and complete axiomatization. The problem of modeling concurrency control strategies is also addressed.

Photoexcitation processes in atoms

2021
hence, there is a need to independently determine the MEE signal, the atomic absorption background (AAB) for the analyzed element, and remove it prior to analysis. In view of the scarcity of elements which can practically be prepared in a free-atom gas state, several approaches to approximate the AAB have been developed: analysis of disordered ...

Muonic atom — atom collision processes

1991
Elastic and inelastic processes of interaction of mesohydrogen in mixture of hydrogen isotopes with light nuclei are considered. The role of the electron screening in the elastic scattering is shown to be very important. Isotopic exchange reactions as well as muon transfer to light nuclei are considered.

Analyses of atomization processes

Fuel, 1982
Abstract Atomized fluid fuels can be mixtures of combustible components (solid, liquid, gas). Disintegration of any fluid fuel occurs due to some phenomena such as turbulence, aerodynamic interaction, microexplosion. There is an equilibrium droplet diameter for each phenomenon.

Atomic Scattering Processes

Reviews of Modern Physics, 1961
Atomic reaction measurements and calculations are surveyed. Electron elastic scattering by H atoms, slow heavy-particle reactions, fast reactions, excitation transfer, and threshold behavior are discussed. Fairly suc cessful calculations exist for most processes; most data include some deviations from theory.

4. Atomic Processes

1971
Publisher Summary This chapter provides guidelines and examples for determining the dominant atomic processes occurring in and affecting particular plasma. The common models used for analysis are described and the methods of analysis leading to knowledge of either plasma parameters or basic atomic information are exemplified by plasma generated in a ...

Atomic Processes in the Sun

1982
Publisher Summary The Sun is a unique astronomical object in that its proximity allows its electromagnetic spectrum to be observed from the γ ray to the radio regions, corresponding to 18 decades in energy. For significant portions of this range, it is possible to combine high spectral, temporal, and spatial resolutions.
