Structure Elucidation of Acylsucrose Derivatives from Rhizome and Rhizome [PDF]
The mass chromatographic fingerprints of the water extracts of Atractylodes rhizome and Atractylodes lancea rhizome were analyzed by LC-MS. Three new acylsucrose derivatives [2,6,3′,6′-tetra(3-methylbutanoyl)sucrose (1), 2,4,3′,6′-tetra(3-methylbutanoyl ...

Chloroplast genome variation and phylogenetic relationships of Atractylodes species [PDF]
Background Atractylodes DC is the basic original plant of the widely used herbal medicines “Baizhu” and “Cangzhu” and an endemic genus in East Asia. Species within the genus have minor morphological differences, and the universal DNA barcodes cannot ...

Glycosides of Atractylodes japonica
From the water-soluble portion of the methanol extract of the fresh rhizome of Atractylodes japonica, five new sesquiterpenoid glycosides, including a compound having a secoguaiane skeleton, and a new aromatic compound glycoside were isolated together with ten known compounds. Their structures were clarified by spectral investigation.

Antioxidant Ability and Mechanism of Rhizoma Atractylodes macrocephala
Rhizoma Atractylodes macrocephala (AM) has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for about 2,000 years. In the study, we firstly determined the antioxidant levels of five AM extracts by •OH-scavenging, •O2−-scavenging, Fe2+-chelating, Cu2+-chelating, DPPH·-scavenging, and ABTS+·-scavenging assays. After measurement of the chemical contents in
