Calibration of Magnetometers with GNSS Receivers and Magnetometer-Aided GNSS Ambiguity Fixing

open access: yesSensors, 2017
Magnetometers provide compass information, and are widely used for navigation, orientation and alignment of objects. As magnetometers are affected by sensor biases and eventually by systematic distortions of the Earth magnetic field, a calibration is ...

Singular value decomposition based satellite attitude determination using different sensor configurations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering, 2017
Satellite's attitude can be determined by using several different ways. In order to use a recursive filter to determine the attitude especially after crucial intervals for the satellite including detumbling, eclipse, etc., single-frame methods can be ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.
