Trypstatin as a Novel TMPRSS2 Inhibitor with Broad‐Spectrum Efficacy against Corona and Influenza Viruses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Trypstatin, a 61‐amino acid Kunitz‐type protease inhibitor derived from human Bikunin, potently inhibits TMPRSS2 and related proteases. It blocks spike‐ and hemagglutinin‐mediated entry of multiple respiratory viruses in vitro reduces SARS‐CoV‐2 replication in human airway cultures, and lowers viral load and symptoms in infected hamsters, demonstrating

A Nano‐Electro‐Platform Enabling Evolutionary Screening and Remodeling of Tumor Cells for Metastasis Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The nano‐electro‐platform achieves non‐destructive evolutionary screening and electro‐remodeling of tumor cells to generate extracellular vesicles with enhanced tumor‐targeting and therapeutic functions. These extracellular vesicles demonstrate remarkable efficacy in activating both macrophages and T cells, thereby orchestrating a potent immune ...

Bioactive siRNA‐Based Liposomes Promoted Tendon‐Bone Healing in Osteoporotic Mice by Recovering the Stemness of CD248+ TSPCs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, it is found that osteoporosis leads to disturbances in the Extracellular Matrix (ECM)of tendons and thus causes a decrease in TSPC stemness, resulting in a rotator cuff that is easily damaged and prone to retearing after repair. Targeted intervention with si‐CD248‐loaded liposomes can restore TSPC stemness, promote tendon‐bone healing ...

An Aerial–Aquatic Hitchhiking Robot with Remora‐Inspired Tactile Sensors and Thrust Vectoring Units

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView., 2023
An untethered aerial–aquatic hitchhiking robot that can be remotely controlled for flying, swimming, and transiting air–water boundaries rapidly (0.16 s), is presented. Notably, it can autonomously attach to various surfaces in both air and water environments using a remora‐inspired suction disc with flexible tactile sensors.
