Type‐I Heterostructure CdZnS/ZnS Core/Shell Quantum Dots Scintillators for Stable, High‐Resolution, and Real‐Time X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ultra‐bright Cd0.27Zn0.73S/7 ML‐ZnS core/shell quantum dots exhibit a photoluminescence quantum yield exceeding 96% and a fourfold enhancement in radioluminescence intensity compared to CsPbBr3. Variable‐temperature photophysical analysis reveals that the narrowband emission originates from direct recombination of edge excitons.

Cu─O─Al Interfacial Engineering on Cu Nanowires for Durable CO2 Electroreduction Into Multi‐Carbon Products

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A Cu nanowire/AlOx core‐shell catalyst is reported for CO2 electroreduction. Acting as a Lewis acid, the AlOx shell not only stabilizes Cu+ species at the Cu─O─Al interface but also creates an alkaline local microenvironment via *OH adsorption. This dual functionality stabilizes the catalyst structure while promoting the C─C coupling process, resulting

Controlling Selectivity at the First Hydrogenation Level: Synthesis of 3‐Hydroxyisoindolines by Heterogeneously Silver‐Catalyzed Monohydrogenation of Phthalimides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
3‐Hydroxylactams are obtained from phthalimides through a heterogeneous catalyzed chemoselective hydrogenation, able to stop the process at the first hydrogenation level. By using a rationally designed [Ag/Al2O3] recyclable solid nanocatalyst, a wide range of cyclic hemiamidals are accesed through a full atom‐economical reaction that preserves (hetero ...

Surface Reconstruction‐Free Stability Achieving Highly Anticorrosive Seawater Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The complex metal oxides of AgCe‐FeMnOH can achieve an excellent oxygen evolution (OER) activity while maintaining its stability under alkaline seawater electrolysis. The surface reconstruction‐free behaviors lead to the durable seawater corrosion resistance without compromising the catalytic activities.
