Photoinduced drug release from thermosensitive AuNPs-liposome using a AuNPs-switch
Chemical Communications, 2010A thermosensitive liposome with embedded AuNPs in a bilayer was prepared using supercritical CO(2). The AuNPs-liposome can absorb a certain wavelength light, convert optical energy into heat, induce phase transition, and release drug. The results show that drug release from the liposome is due to the photothermic effects inducing phase transition of ...

Langmuir, 2009
The interactions of phenyldithioesters with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have been studied by monitoring changes in the surface plasmon resonance (SPR), depolarised light scattering, and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). Changes in the SPR indicated that an AuNP-phenyldithioester charge transfer complex forms in equilibrium with free AuNPs and ...

MGITC Facilitated Formation of AuNP Multimers
Langmuir, 2014Malachite green isothiocyanate (MGITC) is frequently used as a surface bound Raman reporter for metal nanoparticle-enabled surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). To date, however, no study has focused on the application of MGITC for the formation of stable "hot-spot" aggregates for Raman imaging applications.

DNA Nanocages Swallow Gold Nanoparticles (AuNPs) to Form AuNP@DNA Cage Core–Shell Structures
ACS Nano, 2014DNA offers excellent programming properties to nanomaterials syntheses. Host-guest interaction between DNA nanostructures and inorganic nanoparticles (NPs) is of particular interest because the resulting complexes would possess both programming properties intrinsic to DNA and physical properties associated with inorganic NPs, such as plasmonic and ...

Formation of the AuNPs/GO@MoS2/AuNPs nanostructures for the SERS application
Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, 2019Abstract GO nanomeshes and GO@MoS2/AuNPs nanostructures are formed on the flexible 3D Ni foam substrate for the SERS application. Smaller and denser AuNPs “hot spots” are spin-coated on such mesh-like GO@MoS2/AuNPs nanostructures to form AuNPs/GO@MoS2/AuNPs SERS substrates.

pH-Triggered conversion of soft nanocomposites: in situ synthesized AuNP-hydrogel to AuNP-organogel
Soft Matter, 2010Amino acid based amphiphilic gelators (carboxylate salts) were employed for the in situ synthesis of gold nanoparticles (GNPs) in hydrogel networks at room temperature without using any external reducing or capping agents for the development of AuNP-hydrogel soft composite.

Thermoresponsive AuNPs Stabilized by Pillararene‐Containing Polymers
Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2015Pillararene‐containing thermoresponsive polymers are synthesized via reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer polymerization using pillararene derivatives as the effective chain transfer agents for the first time. These polymers can self‐assemble into micelles and form vesicles after guest molecules are added.

Lab on a Chip, 2019
The immobilized AuNPs showed a benzaldehyde selectivity of 94% with benzyl alcohol conversion of 20% in water medium. In comparison, the immobilized AuNPs@zeolite showed a higher catalytic performance (selectivity >99%, conversion = 42.4%).

AuNP-PE interface/phase and its effects on the tensile behaviour of AuNP-PE composites
Journal of Applied Physics, 2018A comprehensive study was conducted for a gold nanoparticle (AuNP)-polyethylene (PE) composite. Molecular dynamic (MD) simulations were employed to construct the AuNP-PE systems, achieve their constitutive relations, and measure their tensile properties.
