Biosynthesis of Gold Nanoparticles (AuNPs) with Dimrit Raisin Extract and Their Degradation Activity for Water Contaminants

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi, 2022
AuNPs are being conventionally synthesized by traditional methods (physical and/or chemical) with preferred and well-defined morphology, size and shape. On the other hand, it has been reported that these methods involve difficult reaction conditions and ...

Gold nanoparticles electrodeposited on glassy carbon using cyclic voltammetry: Application to Hg(II) trace analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The electrochemical determination of Hg(II) at trace level using gold nanoparticles–modified glassy carbon (AuNPs–GC) electrodes is described. Starting from HAuCl4 in NaNO3, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were deposited onto Glassy Carbon (GC) electrodes ...

Roles of Free Electrons and H2O2 in the Optical Breakdown-Induced Photochemical Reduction of Aqueous [AuCl4]- [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Free electrons and H2O2 formed in an optical breakdown plasma are found to directly control the kinetics of [AuCl4]− reduction to form Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) during femtosecond laser-assisted synthesis of AuNPs.

Crystalline AuNP-Decorated Strontium Niobate Thin Films: Strain-Controlled AuNP Morphologies and Optical Properties for Plasmonic Applications

open access: yesACS Applied Nano Materials, 2023
Gold nanoparticle (AuNP) decoration is a commonly used method to enhance the optical responses in many applications such as photocatalysis, biosensing, solar cells, etc. The morphology and structure of AuNPs are essential factors determining the functionality of the sample. However, tailoring the growth mechanism of AuNPs on an identical surface is not

Structural properties of AuNPs/PSi nanostructure

open access: yesDigest Journal of Nanomaterials and Biostructures, 2022
Nanostructure porous silicon (NPSi) was achieved by electrochemical etching. A p-type silicon of resistivity (0.1-0.02 Ω.cm) and n-type silicon of resistivity (1.5-4 Ω.cm) were immersed in 25% HF at etching time of 15 min and fixed current density 20mA/cm2 . Moreover. A gold nanoparticles were produced by laser ablation of energy (250, 350 and 450 mJ).
