Population structure and dynamics and habitat conditions of the native crayfish Austropotamobius pallipes in a pond : a case study in Basque Country (Northern Iberian Peninsula)

open access: yesKnowledge and Management of Aquatic Ecosystems, 2000
A natural and in appearance healthy population of the native crayfish Austropotamobius pallipes inhabiting a pond near Bilbao has been studied for three years, together with abiotic conditions of their habitat.

Analiza kariotipa slatkovodnih rakova Austropotamobius pallipes (Lereboullet, 1858) i Austropotamobius torrentium (Schrank, 1803)

open access: yes, 2014

Preliminary disease investigations on white-clawed crayfish Austropotamobius pallipes from streams of Northern Italy.

open access: yes, 2004
A total of 99 live and 3 dead white-clawed crayfish Austropotamobius pallipes were collected during the summer-autumn 2003 in one creek of Emilia Romagna and four watercourses of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Northern Italy for experimental breeding and ...

Phylogeny of Austropotamobius pallipes (Lereboullet, 1858) based on the analysis of 16S and COI mitochondrial DNA markers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Filogenetski odnosi unutar populacija slatkovodnih rakova vrste Austropotamobius pallipes (Lereboullet, 1858) još nisu u potpunosti razjašnjeni. Novija istraživanja ukazuju na postojanje vrste-kompleksa, odnosno postojanje dva ili više taksona u okviru ...

The Distribution of the crayfish Austropotamobius pallipes (Lereboullet) in Ireland

open access: yes, 1987
The distribution of Austropotamobius pallipes, the only freshwater crayfish recorded from Ireland and presumed to be an old native, is described using some 300 records collected since 1976: the positive and negative loci from regularly sampled rivers and streams are used to provide a baseline from which any future changes in distribution can be ...
