Classical capacity of averaged quantum channels

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2008
In this paper we extend recent coding results by Datta and Dorlas on classical capacity of averaged quantum channels with finitely many memoryless branches to arbitrary number of branches. Only assumption in our approach is that the channel satisfies some weak measurability properties.

Average channel capacity for generalized fading scenarios

IEEE Communications Letters, 2007
Novel expressions for the average channel capacity (ACC) of single-branch receivers operating in generalized fading channels, namely eta-mu and kappa-mu, are derived. The expressions are written in terms of the well-known Meijer's G-functions, which are easily implemented in the most popular computing softwares.

On the Average Bit Error Rate and Average Channel Capacity over Generalized Fading Channels

2015 IEEE International Conference on Ubiquitous Wireless Broadband (ICUWB), 2015
In this paper, we present unified analytical expressions for the average bit error rate (BER) and the average channel capacity of single-branch receivers operating over generalized fading channels. More specifically, novel closed-form expressions for the average BER and the average channel capacity over generalized $\eta{-}\mu$ fading channels in terms

The capacity of the uniform noise rewritable channel with average cost

2010 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2010
We present a closed form expression for the capacity of the uniform noise rewritable channel with average write cost and a constraint on the input range. We show the existence of a critical cost κ 0 such that for all costs κ ≥ κ 0 , the capacity/cost tradeoff is given by an offset added to the logarithm of the cost.
