Average Run-length under different load forces on a cargo with ensembles of three motors, wild type and mutant (WWW, WWM, WMM and MMM).

open access: yes, 2016
(A) Average Run-length of ensembles subjected to load forces around 2.2 pN. Ensembles with a higher proportion of mutant motors demonstrate lower average run-length than the rest of the ensembles.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Analytical explicit formulas of average run length for long memory process with ARFIMA model on CUSUM control chart [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2017
This paper proposes the explicit formulas for the derivation of exact formulas from Average Run Lengths (ARLs) using integral equation on CUSUM control chart when observations are long memory processes with exponential white noise. The authors compared

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Optimal Design of One-sided Exponential EWMA Charts Based on Median Run Length and Expected Median Run Length

open access: yes, 2022
International audienceExponential type charts are useful tools to monitor the time between events in high-quality processes with a low defect rate. Most studies on exponential charts are 1 designed with the average run length (ARL) metric.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

ON PERFORMANCE OF METHODS FOR STATISTICAL SURVEILLANCE

open access: yes, 1994
Statistical surveillance is used to detect a change in a process. It might for example be a change of the level of a characteristic of an economic time series or a change of heart rate in intensive care.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.
