Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

This paper investigates the Shewhart (Formula presented.) chart with estimated parameters. When parameters are unknown, we show that the average run length is a confusing performance measure and that the median run length, which is a better ...

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

COMPARISON BETWEEN TWO METHODS OF SURVEILLANCE: EXPONENTIALLY WEIGHTED MOVING AVERAGE VS CUSUM
When control charts are used in practice it is necessary to know the characteristics of the charts in order to know which action is appropriate at an alarm.

The Cusum Median Chart for Known and Estimated Parameters
The usual CUSUM chart for the mean (CUSUM-X¯) is a chart used to quickly detect small to moderate shifts in a process. In presence of outliers, this chart is known to be more robust than other mean-based alternatives like the Shewhart mean chart but it ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

New Image Steganographic Methods Using Run-Length Approach
[[abstract]]This study proposes two efficient data hiding methods incorporating both run-length encoding and modular arithmetic. The first method, BRL (hiding bitmap files by run-length), is suitable for embedding simple data with long streams of ...
