Evaluating the Spectrum of Unlocked Injection Frequency Dividers in Pulling Mode

open access: yesEntropy, 2013
We study the phenomenon of periodic pulling which occurs in certain integrated microcircuits of relevant interest in applications, namely the injection-locked frequency dividers (ILFDs). They are modelled as second-order driven oscillators working in the

Granular Matter / A general rotation averaging method for granular materials

open access: yes, 2017
In order to study the rotational behavior of granular materials, rotation averaging methods are required. Most of the existing rotation averaging methods are only for 2D cases and limited by the shape, position and size of the averaging volumes. Hence, a

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

BAYESIAN CURVE ESTIMATION BY MODEL AVERAGING [PDF]

open access: yes
A bayesian approach is used to estimate a nonparametric regression model. The main features of the procedure are, first, the functional form of the curve is approximated by a mixture of local polynomials by Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA); second, the ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

EVOLUTION OF THE ROTATIONAL MOTION OF A SATELLITE WITH FLEXIBLE VISCOELASTIC RODS ON THE ELLIPTIC ORBIT

open access: yesРоссийский технологический журнал, 2018
The rotational motion of an artificial satellite in the central Newtonian force field is investigated. The satellite is modeled as a symmetric solid with rigid viscoelastic rods rigidly attached along the symmetry axis and with a spherical inertia tensor.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
