Linear and Programmable Long‐Term Plasticity in PECVD Amorphous SiC Memristors
Stoichiometry‐engineered PECVD amorphous SiC memristors exhibit highly linear and programmable long‐term synaptic plasticity with a nonlinearity as low as 0.08. By controlling the local bonding environment, stable multilevel conductance updates are achieved, enabling robust neural‐network classification on MNIST and CIFAR‐10 and highlighting amorphous ...

This work reports 2D MXene‐derived TiN thin films with (111)‐preferred orientation for transparent Ta3N5 photoanodes, demonstrating effective electron transfer behavior. All‐nitride electron‐collection architecture based on MXene‐derived TiN and n‐GaN resolves a long‐standing materials bottleneck between photocarrier transport and light transmission in

Which pooling method is better: Max, Avg, or Concat (Max, Avg)
Pooling is a non-linear operation that aggregates the results of a given region to a single value. This method effectively removes extraneous details in feature maps while keeping the overall information. As a result, the size of feature maps is reduced, which decreases computing costs and prevents overfitting by eliminating irrelevant data.

Protection Motivation Theory and Farmers' Participation in Futures Markets: Evidence From Germany
ABSTRACT This study examines why German farmers show limited adoption of commodity futures contracts despite substantial price volatility, applying Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) to understand the cognitive processes driving participation decisions in futures markets. Survey data from 303 German farmers collected in 2024 were analyzed using Partial
