Receptogenesis in a Vascularized Robotic Embodiment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Functional augmentation of situated robots via ex novo hardware generation extends physical adaptability. Drawing inspiration from open circulatory systems for mass and function redistribution, this study presents a vascularized robotic composite exhibiting receptogenesis ‐ the on‐demand construction of sensors ‐ from internal fluid reserves based on ...

Chitosan, Gelatin, Aloe vera, and Carvacrol Nanoemulsion–Based Edible Coatings: Effects on Physicochemical, Microbiological, and Sensory Qualities of Vacuum‐Packed Chicken Fillets

open access: yesFood Bioengineering
Chicken meat contains high‐quality protein and is prone to postharvest quality deterioration due to high moisture and lipid content. Thus, in this study, edible coatings were developed from natural biomaterials, that is, chitosan (CH), gelatin (GL), Aloe

Chitosan and gelatin based antimicrobial composite coatings functionalized with natural active agents for preservation of pork meat

open access: yesFuture Foods
Pork is rich in protein, but its high moisture content leads to microbial spoilage, and rapid post-harvest quality degradation. Natural biopolymer-based coatings have emerged as a promising solution for preserving the food.

Pre-harvest Application of ReTain (Aminoethoxyvinylglycine, AVG) Influences Pre-harvest Drop and Fruit Quality of ‘Williams’ Pears

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural Sciences, 2017
‘Williams’ is the highly quality pear cultivar mostly produced in the Eğirdir region of Turkey. ReTain (15%aminoethoxyvinilglycine, AVG) is a plant growth regulator used to control pre-harvest drop and increase fruitweight and firmness.

Multimodal Bioinspired Self‐Healing Composites Enabling Durable and High‐Efficiency Wearable Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Butterfly wing–inspired intrinsically self‐healing polymer interlayers enable flexible perovskite optoelectronics with high luminance, strain‐insensitive stability, and environmental resilience. These hierarchically structured films redistribute mechanical stress, suppress defect formation, and maintain performance under repeated bending, paving the ...

Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.

Robustness of Half‐Metallicity and Spin‐Dependent Transport in Defective Co2HfSn and Co2ZrSn Heusler Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Point defects strongly influence the spin‐dependent electronic and transport properties of Co2HfSn and Co2ZrSn Heusler alloys. First‐principles calculations reveal that Co vacancies preserve half‐metallicity, while anti‐site and swap defects introduce minority‐spin states that reduce spin selectivity.

Effect of aminoethoxyvinilglycine (AVG) on preharvest fruit drop and maturity of apples

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Fruticultura, 2002
Apple trees cultivars Gala and Fuji were sprayed four weeks before commercial harvest with aminoethoxyvinilglycine (AVG), at doses of 0, 125, or 250 mg L-1, and assessed for preharvest fruit drop, fruit growth, and maturation on tree.

Stability of PEA2PbBr4 Thin‐Film Photodetectors under Thermal and Moisture Stress

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the environmental durability of 2D perovskite photodetectors under extreme heat and humidity. While pristine films degrade in harsh environmental conditions, adding a halogen‐bonding agent significantly improves stability. This passivated device maintains stable performance in conditions mimicking space and solar applications ...
