Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Characteristics of Highly Heterogeneous Rock Mechanical Responses in Tight Sandy Conglomerate Reservoir Rock Under Tri-axial Compression

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2021
Due to the use of horizontal wells and hydraulic fracturing, commercial tight oil production from some tight sandy conglomerate reservoirs has been achieved.

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

A yield curvature model considering axial compression ratio

open access: yesAdvances in Bridge Engineering, 2023
This study proposed a yield curvature prediction model considering axial compression ratio with exponential function which is improved on the basis of the specification effective yield curvature prediction model.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Effect of Axial Compression Ratio on Seismic and Self-Centering Performance of Unbonded Prestressed Concrete Columns

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, 2022
To explore the influence of the applied axial compression ratio and preloaded axial compression ratio on the seismic performance of unbonded prestressed concrete columns, pseudo-static tests were carried out on four prestressed columns and one ordinary ...

Off-axial Compressive Properties of 3-axially Reinforced 3D Composites.

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society for Composite Materials, 1996
Mechanical properties of multi-axis three-dimensional fabric composite materials are considered to be influenced by molding condition and molding defects. Off-axial compressive properties, which are sensitive to defects, have been studied for rod piercing type threeaxially reinforced threedimensional (3D3A) composites.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
