ABSTRACT Background Chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) is a severe form of lower‐extremity artery disease characterized by distal lesions and microcirculatory impairment, limiting revascularization efficacy. Rheocarna is a direct hemoperfusion low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) adsorption device with potential rheological and anti‐inflammatory ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Preliminary Discussion on Monitoring of Steel Support Axis Force in Metro Engineering [PDF]
Axial force monitoring of steel support is one of the important factors for foundation pit safety monitoring. In the monitoring of steel support, there are many problems, such as unreasonable installation of axonometer, irregular monitoring behavior of ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Study on the Effect of Floating Impeller Axial Displacement on the Performance and Axial Force of Vortex Pumps [PDF]
The impact of the axial displacement of a floating impeller in a vortex pump on performance and axial force was investigated through numerical simulations, validated by experimental tests.

Enhancing the Applied Force and Range of Axial Optical Tweezers
Axial optical tweezers provide a natural geometry for performing biomechanical assays such as rupture force measurements of protein binding. Axial traps, however, are typically weaker than their lateral counterparts requiring high laser power to maintain a well calibrated, linear restoring force.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
