Measurements of axial length and radius of corneal curvature in the rabbit eye.

The axial length of the eye, the radius of the anterior corneal surface, and the diameter of the cornea were measured on 40 eyes of 20 New Zealand White rabbits. The ultrasonographic measurements of the axial length of the eye showed a mean value of 15.12 ± 0.51mm (15.33 ± 0.50mm in males, 14.96 ± 0.46mm in females).

Axial Eye Length after Retinal Detachment Surgery

Changes in the eye axial diameter were studied to assess the eye globe impact of conventional operation for retinal detachment. The study included 69 eyes in 69 patients operated on for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. There were 46.4% of men and 53.6% of women, mean age 52.7 (+/- 15.21) years.

目的:黄斑前膜症例に対する眼軸長検査につき、非接触式光学式眼軸長測定装置であるIOLマスター™(以下IOLマスター)の有用性を検討した。対象と方法:対象は、2005年9月から2006年9月までに当院にて、IOLマスターと超音波Aモード法(以下Aモード)の両方による眼軸長測定を同日に施行した黄斑前膜症例のうち、術前の光干渉断層計(以下OCT)による網膜厚が測定できた15症例17眼であった。黄斑部に病変のない症例(31例40眼)を対照群とした。IOLマスターとAモードによる眼軸長測定結果の差を比較した。黄斑前膜除去手術を行った症例に対してIOLマスターによる眼軸長について手術前後で比較した。IOLマスターにおいてダブルピークが認められた症例の波形とOCTによる網膜厚を比較した。結果 ...
