Axial length measurements in IOL implanted eyes
目的:眼内レンズ挿入眼に対して超音波式と光学式で眼軸長測定を行い、両者の結果を比較検討した。対象:中京眼科にて白内障手術を施行し、術前と術後3ヶ月から6ヶ月の間に超音波式と光学式で眼軸長を測定できた33例50眼、挿入した眼内レンズは材質がシリコンであるCANONSTAAR社AQ110NV®とAMO社SI40NB®、材質がアクリルであるAlcon社SA60AT®あった。方法:超音波式眼軸長測定にはTOMEY社AL-2000®を使用し、測定時の設定を音速値・眼内レンズの中心厚をAL-2000®の中に組み込まれている偽水晶体眼測定の設定値で測定するオート設定と、挿入された眼内レンズの材質にあった音速値、眼内レンズの中心厚を設定するマニュアル設定の2通りで行った ...

Axial Eye Length after Retinal Detachment Surgery
Changes in the eye axial diameter were studied to assess the eye globe impact of conventional operation for retinal detachment. The study included 69 eyes in 69 patients operated on for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. There were 46.4% of men and 53.6% of women, mean age 52.7 (+/- 15.21) years.

Axial length measurement of the Epiretinal Membrane eye
目的:黄斑前膜症例に対する眼軸長検査につき、非接触式光学式眼軸長測定装置であるIOLマスター™(以下IOLマスター)の有用性を検討した。対象と方法:対象は、2005年9月から2006年9月までに当院にて、IOLマスターと超音波Aモード法(以下Aモード)の両方による眼軸長測定を同日に施行した黄斑前膜症例のうち、術前の光干渉断層計(以下OCT)による網膜厚が測定できた15症例17眼であった。黄斑部に病変のない症例(31例40眼)を対照群とした。IOLマスターとAモードによる眼軸長測定結果の差を比較した。黄斑前膜除去手術を行った症例に対してIOLマスターによる眼軸長について手術前後で比較した。IOLマスターにおいてダブルピークが認められた症例の波形とOCTによる網膜厚を比較した。結果 ...

This study demonstrates that ALY688, a drug mimicking the heart‐protective hormone adiponectin, reduces myocardial ischemia injury. ALY688 increases the production of extracellular vesicles, which carry protective cargo including adiponectin itself.
