Azimuthal polarization of polarized top quark in noncommutative standard model

open access: yes, 2018
Top quark decays before hadronization and its information transfer to final products. The top quark decays via the weak interaction, hence the azimuthal polarized decay rate is zero in the leading order of SM. Therefore the study of top quark could be taken into consideration as useful tools to search for new physics.

SUBWAVELENGTH GRATINGS FOR GENERATING AZIMUTHALLY POLARIZED BEAMS

open access: yesCollection of selected papers of the II International Conference on Information Technology and Nanotechnology, 2016
We have experimentally investigated two binary subwavelength grating-miсropolarizers that transform linearly polarized light to the azimuthally polarized beam. The first miсropolarizer operates in reflective mode (for wavelength 532 nm) and was manufactured in a gold film.

Broadband Directional Thermal Radiation with Asymmetric Femtosecond Laser‐Processed Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Femtosecond laser processing is used to scalably create self‐organized angled microstructures which exhibit highly directional emissivity that occurs for all polarizations. Laser parameters are tuned to alter the surface features, control the direction of emission, and enhance the directional emissivity. Electromagnetic modeling is performed to analyze

Chiral-odd distribution functions in the chiral quark soliton model

open access: yes, 2000
The recent measurements of azimuthal single spin asymmetries by the HERMES collaboration has opened up new possibility to measure chiral-odd distribution functions through semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scatterings.

Phototunable Polarization Volume Gratings Driven by Chiral Hydrazone Switches

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral hydrazone photoswitches incorporated into polarization volume gratings enable light‐driven, reversible modulation of optical properties. UV and blue light irradiation reversibly alter the hydrazone isomer ratio, leading to tunable diffraction efficiency and spectral response across the visible spectrum.

The polarization observables T, P, and H and their impact on $\gamma p \to p\pi^0$ multipoles

open access: yes, 2015
Data on the polarization observables T, P, and H for the reaction $\gamma p\to p\pi^0$ are reported. Compared to earlier data from other experiments, our data are more precise and extend the covered range in energy and angle substantially.

Selective Reflection of Chiral Ferroelectric Nematic Liquid Crystals Tuned by Electric Field Along the Helix Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
It is demonstrated that in chiral ferroelectric nematic liquid crystals sandwiched between electrically conducting transparent plates, the reflection color can be reversibly tuned by electric fields applied along the helix axis. The proposed theoretical model, assuming field‐induced coiling of the helix axis, accounts for all observations.
