Nano‐Gs Protein Peptidomimetics: Rational Design of Gα C‐Terminus‐Derived Peptides Mimicking Key Components of Gs‐β2AR Interactions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) are major therapeutic targets. Modulating GPCR activity through intracellular sites is evolving. A structure‐ and computation‐assisted approach generated small G protein‐derived peptidomimetics targeting the intracellular binding crevice of the β2 adrenergic receptor mimicking features of the full G protein.

The Absorption Colour of Organic Azo Compounds

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1978
Quantum chemical methods permit one to reveal scope and limitations of composite-molecule models formerly proposed to rationalize the absorption behaviour of azo compounds in the visible region.

Atomically dispersed Fe boosting elimination performance of g-C3N4 towards refractory sulfonic azo compounds via catalyst-contaminant interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Powder Materials
Herein, an oxygen-doped porous g-C3N4 photocatalyst modified with atomically dispersed Fe (Fe1/OPCN) is successfully prepared and exhibits significant superiority in removing refractory sulfonic azo contaminants from water via catalyst-contaminant ...

Silane coupling and mordanting as attachment techniques for pyridylazo and thiazolylazo ligands in the synthesis of adsorbents for uranium in seawater

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2018
Activated carbon adsorbents modified with azo compounds (4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol, 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol, 4-(2-thiazolylazo)resorcinol), or with allyl and vinylbenzyl derivatives of 4-(2-thiazolylazo)resorcinol, were observed to be highly ...
