Coherent spin precession and texture in3He-B
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 1996A new magnetically excited coherent quantum state in superfluid3He-B is proposed. The state has properties which correspond well to the so-called persistent signal, observed at very low temperatures.

Textural singularities in superfluid3He-B
Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 1977The absorption signal occasionally found missing in the middle of resonance absorption lines in NMR is explained on the basis of a textural singularity of the anisotropy axis in the B phase of3He. The singularity combines with the field gradient present to give rise to an asymmetric hole in the signal with a singularity on the high-frequency side.

Perceptual studies on ultrasonic B-scan textures
Physics in Medicine and Biology, 1986A pilot study of the perceptual characteristics of ultrasonic textured images is described. Scans of four models performed on four real-time machines optimised for display of a normal liver were used. A trial with 22 observers indicated that the model that gave images closest to the liver image varied between machines.

Texture investigation of hot-forged Nd–Fe–B magnets
Philosophical Magazine A, 2000This work represents one of the first attempts to probe the bulk crystallographic alignment of hot-forged Nd-Fe-B-Cu magnets using neutron diffraction techniques. Optimizing the microstructure induced by the hot-forging process is necessary to develop good magnetic properties.

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 1992
Abstract By separation of the soft degrees of freedom in the Leggett equations of spin dynamics, the equations of motion for textures in 3He-B are derived. These equations are applied to the analysis of motions of spatially uniform textures in magnetic field in a bulk liquid and in a slab geometry.

Texture Development in Dual Phase a/B-Brass - Part II: Recrystallization Textures
International Journal of Materials Research, 1995The development of the crystallographic texture in two phase α/β-brass Cu-40 % Zn containing 20 vol.% β phase was investigated separately for both phases by means of 3-dimensional orientation distribution functions (ODFs). The results were compared to those of the single phase alloy Cu-37% Zn and to literature data of Cu-30% Zn. Whereas the development

Texture Analysis of Ultrasound B-Mode Images by Segmentation
Ultrasonic Imaging, 1984B-mode texture characterization by supervised methods of pattern recognition is subject to the following drawbacks: precise localization of the lesion to characterize is often difficult and, even when the lesion is well isolated, its texture can be corrupted by the presence of tumor non specific structures.

Efficient GPU-Based Texture Interpolation using Uniform B-Splines
Journal of Graphics Tools, 2008This article presents uniform B-spline interpolation, completely contained on the graphics processing unit (GPU). This implies that the CPU does not need to compute any lookup tables or B-spline basis functions. The cubic interpolation can be decomposed into several linear interpolations [Sigg and Hadwiger 05], which are hard-wired on the GPU and ...

Textures and spin waves in rotating superfluid3H3-B
Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 1983The spin wave modes in rotating superfluid3He-B have been calculated for a texture of cylindrical symmetry. The textural configuration is determined by minimizing the appropriate free energy and solving the resulting Euler-Lagrange equations for then vector. The texture determines the effective potential entering the spin wave equation.
