Copper interferes with tryptophan metabolism and 5‐HT levels by modulating intestinal flora. Intestinal barrier breakdown and inflammatory response trigger nerve damage under copper exposure. W. coagulans XY2 alleviates copper‐induced neurotoxicity by targeting a multi‐dimensional “tryptophan metabolism‐antioxidant defense‐gut‐brain axis” network.

Targeting the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐1 alpha‐exoVEGF axis in tumor‐associated macrophages overcomes Bacillus Calmette‐Guérin immunotherapy resistance

Macrophages stimulated by BCG significantly enhanced endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and tube formation. Mechanistically, this pro‐angiogenic activity was reliant on activating NF‐αB or other signaling pathways, which induced the upregulation of HIF‐1α and VEGFA.
