Inspection of Back Surface Aspheric Contact Lenses
Optometry and Vision Science, 1979Abstract Two methods of clinically inspecting and verifying rigid back surface aspheric contact lenses were investigated. A modification of the Radiuscope was found to be an accurate method for making such measurements. Measurement data of a number of aspheric lenses obtained by using this procedure are presented.

Dye‐Sensitized Back‐Contact Solar Cells
Advanced Materials, 2010sensitized solar cells (DSCs), [ 2 ] are based on low-cost materials and can be fabricated by means of simple printing techniques. Two transparent fl uorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrates are conventionally used as collecting electrodes to extract photogenerated charge carriers from the dye-sensitized junction.

Etch-back simplifies interdigitated back contact solar cells
2014 IEEE 40th Photovoltaic Specialist Conference (PVSC), 2014The process of making Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC) solar cell is implemented by a novel simplified etch-back technique, while aiming for no compromise on high-efficiency potentials. Simplified etch-back creates localized heavy and light phosphorus and boron diffusions simultaneously.

Co-Diffused Back-Contact Back-Junction Silicon Solar Cells
2013Aiming for industrial solar cell fabrication the ratio of costs to watt peak has to be lowered [1]. This can be achieved by either decreasing the overall solar cell manufacturing costs including material, process and module assembly or increasing solar cell efficiency [2].

Back‐contact solar cells: a review
Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, 2005AbstractEver since the first publications by R.J. Schwartz in 1975, research into back‐contact cells as an alternative to cells with a front and rear contact has remained a research topic. In the last decade, interest in back‐contact cells has been growing and a gradual introduction to industrial applications is emerging.

Silicon solar cells with hybrid back contacts
NatureSilicon solar cells are essential for sustainable energy but remain limited by efficiency losses, particularly in the fill factor1-3. Here we develop a hybrid interdigitated back-contact solar cell that combines advanced all-surface passivation with laser-treated tunnelling contacts.

Putting individuals back in contact
2011Researchers have commented that linguistic complexity and the level of social integration can constrain adults’ ability to acquire phonological changes (Chambers 1992; Kerswill 1996; Evans 2004). This preliminary study explores the extent to which first generation Barbadian immigrants acquire Ipswich English (IpsE) or retain their own phonology (Island
