Codiffusion Sources and Barriers for the Assembly of Back-Contact Back-Junction Solar Cells
IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics, 2015In this study, several diffusion sources are investigated, aiming at codiffusion for the fabrication of back-contact back-junction (BC-BJ) silicon solar cell. As a gaseous diffusion source, a POCl3-diffusion process is investigated, and for solid diffusion sources, phosphorus- and boron-doped silicate glass (PSG and BSG) deposited by the means of ...

Wheel∕Rail Two-Point Contact Geometry With Back-of-Flange Contact
Journal of Computational and Nonlinear Dynamics, 2008In this investigation, a numerical procedure that can be used for the analysis of a wheel and rail contact geometry is developed using the constraint contact formulation. The locations of contact points are determined for given lateral and yaw displacements of a wheelset when one-point contact is considered for each wheel, while these two displacements

Back Contact Module Technology
2012Back contact modules manufactured with MWT cells comprise a higher efficiency than standard x-Si modules made with H-patten cells, due to low fill factor losses of only 0.8%. The cell-module concept is a truly integrated concept with a simplified manufacturing process.

Ion implanted passivated contacts for interdigitated back contacted solar cells
2015 IEEE 42nd Photovoltaic Specialist Conference (PVSC), 2015We describe work towards an interdigitated back contacted (IBC) solar cell utilizing ion implanted, passivated contacts. Formation of electron and hole passivated contacts to n-type CZ wafers using tunneling SiO2 and ion implanted amorphous silicon (a-Si) are described.

Mechanical problems of novel back contact solar modules
2012 13th International Thermal, Mechanical and Multi-Physics Simulation and Experiments in Microelectronics and Microsystems, 2012Abstract The mechanical integrity of interconnect structures of different types of photovoltaic modules is analyzed by FEM-simulations. The goal is to develop a systematic understanding of the potential thermo-mechanical damage by a detailed theoretical analysis of the mechanical behavior of important structural elements in photovoltaic modules.

Characterizing Local Contact Resistances of Interdigitated Back Contact Silicon Solar Cells
2014Next generation high efficiency interdigitated back contact (IBC) silicon solar cells are often designed with complex doping and contacting structures that are sensitive to series resistance induced losses. Particularly local contact resistance problems present a major fill factor loss in industrially feasible solar cell designs.

[Bringing back scleral contact lenses].
Journal francais d'ophtalmologie, 2005Although old generations of scleral contact lenses were totally replaced by soft and hard contact lenses, new designs and materials have recently allowed the successful use of nonfenestrated scleral contact lenses in patients who are intolerant to regular contact lenses.

Talking Back: Autoethnography and the Contact Zone
2013The focus of this paper is an exploration of Pratt’s notion of the contact zone in understanding and enacting curriculum in international education. The last two decades have seen a rapid growth in the internationalization of higher education, which needs to be understood alongside the conditions of globalization and the consequential market ...
