Electromotive forces and the Meissner effect puzzle [PDF]
In a voltaic cell, positive (negative) ions flow from the low (high) potential electrode to the high (low) potential electrode, driven by an `electromotive force' which points in opposite direction and overcomes the electric force.

Study on the process of preparing Al-Ce alloy by electrodeposition
The process of Al-Ce alloy prepared by electrodeposition was studied in molten LiF-KCl-CeF3 salt at 820 °C. Several process parameters such as back electromotive force and current efficiency were measured by continuous pulse oscillograph.

Nonlinear Turbulent Magnetic Diffusion and Mean-Field Dynamo
The nonlinear coefficients defining the mean electromotive force (i.e., the nonlinear turbulent magnetic diffusion, the nonlinear effective velocity, the nonlinear kappa-tensor, etc.) are calculated for an anisotropic turbulence.

The Dependence of Dynamo $\alpha$-Effect on Reynolds Numbers, Magnetic Prandtl Number, and the Statistics of MHD Turbulence [PDF]
We generalize the derivation of dynamo coefficient $\alpha$ of Field et al (1999) to include the following two aspects: first, the de-correlation times of velocity field and magnetic field are different; second, the magnetic Prandtl number can be ...

ABSTRACT This work addresses the challenge of bidirectional trajectory tracking in solar‐powered wheeled mobile robots (WMRs), considering the mechanical structure, actuator‐driver, and power stage subsystems. Notably, this is the first study to explicitly model and control the actuator‐driver subsystem within this context. The proposed solution relies

Similar to armature back electromotive force (armature back-EMF), the back-EMF also exists in the field winding of hybrid excited machines. However, the existence of field back electromotive force (field back-EMF) is harmful to the safe and stable ...

FPGA-based implementation of the back-EMF symmetric-threshold-tracking sensorless commutation method for brushless DC-machines [PDF]
The operation of brushless DC permanent-magnet machines requires information of the rotor position to steer the semiconductor switches of the power-supply module which is commonly referred to as Brushless Commutation. Different sensorless techniques have
