A physics‐informed property‐bridging framework links high‐throughput hardness screening to tensile performance in quenching and partitioning steels. By transferring metallurgically guided representations across properties, a single alloy composition is designed to achieve multiple strength grades through heat‐treatment tuning alone, offering a ...

Some Aspects of Bainite Transformation in Fe-Based Alloys
The mechanism of the bainite transformation in carbon containing steels was discussed after presenting our recent experimental results ; (1) the bainite transformation has its own C-curve, (2) incomplete phenomenon is a general feature of the bainite ...

The phase transformation behavior of a hypoeutectoid steel is studied in comparison with alloys containing higher concentrations of tramp elements, simulating high recycling rates. The examination of microstructures reveals that the tramp elements facilitate the formation of displacive phases along with retained austenite.

Influence of Higher Tramp Element Level on the Weldability of Automotive Steels
The use of green recycled steels is constantly expanding in the automotive industry. The increase in tramp elements resulting from the recycling of steel is problematic. Tramp elements can lead to a negative influence on the weldability. To understand the influence, the welding properties of three green steels are characterized. The potential limits of

Surface reconditioning through mechanical and electrochemical polishing is shown to extend the fatigue life of predamaged 42CrMo4 steel by over 12 times. By removing ≈100 μm of surface material, surface‐driven fatigue damage is mitigated. This study introduces a reuse potential metric to evaluate fatigue recovery and support sustainable steel reuse. To
