Iron‐based metallic glass alloys exhibit excellent soft‐magnetic properties, and unprecedented geometrical freedom in the design of soft‐magnetic metallic glass components is made possible by additive manufacturing. An efficient workflow for developing parameters for laser‐based powder bed fusion of a Fe‐based metallic glass alloy is presented along ...

How Chaotic is the Stadium Billiard? A Semiclassical Analysis
The impression gained from the literature published to date is that the spectrum of the stadium billiard can be adequately described, semiclassically, by the Gutzwiller periodic orbit trace formula together with a modified treatment of the marginally ...

Effects of Carbon Nanoparticles on Triboelectro‐Induced Surface Defects
Carbon nanoparticles added to grease modify the electrocontact behavior. The synergy of particle concentration and electric current dominates the surface damage of metals in contact. Electrical surface damage caused by current leakage is a critical challenge in high‐performance applications such as electric vehicle (EV) drivetrains and wind turbine ...

Can Ti‐Based MXenes Serve as Solid Lubricants for Brake Applications? A Tribological Study
This study explores the first implementation of Ti‐based MXenes materials in brake pad friction composite material. The resulting composite material exhibits a 48% reduction in the wear rate; alongside significant improvements are observed for thermal and mechanical properties.

Geometric Estimates in Interpolation on an n-Dimensional Ball
Suppose \(n\in {\mathbb N}\). Let \(B_n\) be a Euclidean unit ball in \({\mathbb R}^n\) given by the inequality \(\|x\|\leq 1\), \(\|x\|:=\left(\sum\limits_{i=1}^n x_i^2\right)^{\frac{1}{2}}\).

Cerceau et petite balle : les bienfaits des jeux pour la santé
Hoop and small ball are both games and sports that have a Greek origin, but were still practiced in the Graeco-Roman empire. Antyllus, a Pneumatist physician of the imperial age whose texts were preserved by Oribasius in his Medical Collections, devoted ...
