Multifunctional current-mode filter with dual-parameter control of the pole frequency
This paper presents a multifunctional current-mode filter with dual-parameter control of the pole frequency. The filter is of the second order, of single-input triple-output (SITO) type and a required type of the response (low pass, inverting band pass,

Development of low-cost multi-wavelength imager system for studies of aurora and airglow [PDF]
This paper introduces a new system that can monitor aurora and atmospheric airglow using a low-cost Watec monochromatic imager (WMI) equipped with a sensitive camera, a filter with high transmittance, and the non-telecentric optics.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

The paper presents a novel solution of a fully-differential 1+α fractional-order filter. The filter can provide low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-stop transfer functions without a necessity of a circuitry change (filter is electronically ...

An adaptive envelope analysis in a wireless sensor network for bearing fault diagnosis using fast kurtogram algorithm [PDF]
This paper proposes a scheme to improve the performance of applying envelope analysis in a wireless sensor network for bearing fault diagnosis. The fast kurtogram is realized on the host computer for determining an optimum band-pass filter for the ...

An externally tunable bacterial band-pass filter [PDF]
The current paradigm for tuning synthetic biological systems is through re-engineering system components. Biological systems designed with the inherent ability to be tuned by external stimuli will be more versatile. We engineered Escherichia coli cells to behave as an externally tunable band-pass filter for enzyme ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

A Multivariate Band-Pass Filter [PDF]
We develop a multivariate filter which is an optimal (in the mean squared error sense) approximation to the ideal filter that isolates a specified range of fluctuations in a time series, e.g., business cycle fluctuations in macroeconomic time series ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
