The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.

Low power bandgap voltage references
Bandgap voltage reference plays an important part in many circuits such as data convertors, voltage regulators, and oscillators. It provides a relatively constant voltage to other circuit blocks.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

A survey of bandgap and non-bandgap based voltage reference techniques
The design challenges of voltage reference generators in CMOS technology have increased over the years in low-voltage low-power CMOS integrated circuits, constituting analog, digital, and mixed-signal modules.

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

Trions as Fundamental Species in Chemically Doped Polymer Semiconductors
This work shows that exciton–charge carrier coupling in doped polymer semiconductors gives rise to multi‐particle states, including trions—quasiparticles consisting of two holes and one electron under p‐doping—and bound exciton‐hole pairs, as identified through spectroscopic and theoretical analysis.

High‐Bandgap Perovskites for Efficient Indoor Light Harvesting
The use of metal‐halide perovskites in photovoltaic applications has become increasingly attractive due to their low‐temperature manufacturing processes and long charge‐carrier lifetimes.

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

A scalable bottom‐up CVD methodology, based on liquid transition metal salt precursors, is presented for the controlled growth of two high‐quality MoSe2–WSe2 heterostructures (HSs): purely lateral (HS I) and hybrid lateral/vertical (HS II), by simply adjusting precursor concentration.
