Mandated Annuitization, Gender‐Neutral Pricing, and the Possibility of Negative Correlation Between Risk Type and Purchase Level

open access: yesJournal of Public Economic Theory, Volume 28, Issue 5, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Mandated annuitization is often proposed to eliminate the inefficiency caused by the positive correlation between risk type and purchase level in insurance markets. We revisit this solution in a mandatory annuity program with partial waiver, which is empirically relevant.

Modeling Non‐GM Segregation Strategies at the Grain Elevator

open access: yesCereal Chemistry, Volume 103, Issue 5, Page 730-741, September/October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Objective As new opportunities arise for non‐genetically modified (non‐GM) products in grain markets, segregation becomes crucial but challenging in commodity‐friendly infrastructures such as grain elevators. This study developed probabilistic models using Monte Carlo simulations to evaluate three segregation strategies ...

TAUS: Target‐Age Unified Survival. Survival Analysis Without Assuming Proportional Hazards or Parameterising the Survival Function

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 9, September 2026.
Estimation of 𝑂𝜏 for the arbitrary case of 𝜏 = 15 (green dashed line). It shows the conditional survival (𝑇 > 𝜏 ∣ 𝑇 > 𝑡) (black line, 95% CI in grey), the age distribution 𝐴(𝑡) (blue histogram), the t‐wise evaluation of 𝑃(𝑇 > 𝜏 ∣ 𝑇 > 𝑡) * 𝐴(𝑡) (red line), and the value of 𝑂𝜏 = ∑𝑡 𝑃(𝑇 > 𝜏 ∣ 𝑇 > 𝑡) ⋅ 𝐴(𝑡) (red area).

Preparing Prospective Counselors for Classroom‐Based Career Guidance Using Video Vignettes—Mechanisms and Effects

open access: yesJournal of Employment Counseling, Volume 63, Issue 3, Page 142-159, September 2026.

Non‐inferiority analysis of a fetal heart rate artificial intelligence algorithm to registered nurse assessment

open access: yesPregnancy, Volume 2, Issue 5, September 2026.
Abstract Introduction Cardiotocography (CTG) is widely used for monitoring fetal heart rate (FHR) and uterine activity (UA) during pregnancy and labor. Clinician interpretation of CTG tracings may be subjective, leading to significant inter‐ and intra‐observer variability and inconsistent clinical decision‐making.
