NOx Reduction Pathways during LNT Operation over Ceria Containing Catalysts: Effect of Copper Presence and Barium Content

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Ceria-based catalysts, with Cu in substitution of noble metals, were studied in a vertical microreactor system under isothermal conditions, where NOx was previously stored, followed by the reduction step conducted under H2.

On the subject of the Ba overabundance in the open clusters stars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
For eight distant open clusters, namely Ruprecht 4, Ruprecht 7, Berkeley 25, Berkeley 73, Berkeley 75, NGC 6192, NGC 6404, and NGC 6583, we determined the yttrium and barium abundances using the UVES, VLT spectra (ESO, Chile).

Role of promoters over yttria‐zirconia supported Ni catalyst for dry reforming of methane

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering, 2023
Dry reforming of methane (DRM) bears great hope for the catalytic community as well as environmentalists for its potential to convert two greenhouse gases, CH4 and CO2, together into synthetic feedstock “syngas”.

Possible discovery of the r-process characteristics in the abundances of metal-rich barium stars

open access: yes, 2014
We study the abundance distributions of a sample of metal-rich barium stars provided by Pereira et al. (2011) to investigate the s- and r-process nucleosynthesis in the metal-rich environment. We compared the theoretical results predicted by a parametric

Síntese de BaTIO3 e SrTIO3 pelo método hidrotermal assistido por micro-ondas utilizando anatase como precursor de titânio

open access: yesQuímica Nova
In this work barium titanate (BT) and strontium titanate (ST) were prepared by Microwave-Assisted Hydrothermal (MAH) method, using a Ti precursor different from those shown in the literature and various concentrations (1, 3 e 6 mol L-1) of KOH ...

Tungsten and barium transport in the internal plasma of hollow cathodes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The effect of tungsten erosion, transport, and redeposition on the operation of dispenser hollow cathodes was investigated in detailed examinations of the discharge cathode inserts from 8200 h and 30 352 h ion engine wear tests.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Utilisation de quelques éléments minéraux dans la différenciation des vins de Galice de ceux d'autres régions d'Espagne

open access: yesOENO One, 1990
Les profondes différences qui existent entre les trois Appellations d'Origine de Galice quant au sol, au climat, au cépage sont la cause d'importantes différences analytiques que l'on retrouve dans les divers vins produits.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.
