CT saturation correction based on the estimated CT saturation time constant

IET 9th International Conference on Developments in Power Systems Protection (DPSP 2008), 2008
A new method for CT saturation correction is presented that is based on an on-line estimation of the CT magnetizing inductance. The approach adopted is based on numerical solution of the differential equation, which describes the saturated current transformer.

'Descente Infinie' Induction-Based Saturation Procedures

Ninth International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing (SYNASC 2007), 2007
In [11], we have shown that implicit induction and saturation proof techniques share the same logic, witnessed by an inference system implementing the Fermat's 'Descente Infinie' induction principle. As a case study, a simple paramodulation-based inference system has been proved as an instance of it. In this paper, we detail the instantiation method to

Spirothiopyran-Based Reversibly Saturable Photoresist

Chemistry of Materials, 2017
Super-resolution lithography holds the promise of achieving three-dimensional (3D) nanopatterning at deep subwavelength resolutions with high throughput. 3D super-resolution lithography schemes demonstrated thus far have all been serial in nature, primarily due to the lack of a photoresist chemistry that not only couples a saturable reversibly ...

Non-saturated Analysis of the Contention-Based Access in WiMAX

2011
Broadband wireless communications are an important need. WiMAX is a technology that provides wireless connectivity. Even if this standard envisages several mechanisms for quality of service support, best effort traffic class is analyzed here since it still represents an important percentage of the traffic load.

Efficient intensity-hue-saturation-based image fusion with saturation compensation

Optical Engineering, 2001
The intensity-hue-saturation (IHS) and Brovey transforms are two widespread image fusion methods in the remote sensing community. However, both are sensitive to the characteristics of the analyzed area. Restated, they often face color distortion problems with fused images. This work investigates models representing the color space in images.

Effects of luminance level on the saturation function: Sensitivities based on saturation discrimination

Color Research & Application, 1991
AbstractThe saturation of a monochromatic light λ is defined as the reciprocal of the just noticeable colorimetric purity ΔP(λ) from a white, which is a conventional definition having been used previously often. The present study measures saturation functions of monochromatic lights at various luminance levels ranging from 10 to 1000 Td.
