Topology-based signal separation

open access: yesChaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 2004
Traditional noise-filtering techniques are known to significantly alter features of chaotic data. In this paper, we present a noncausal topology-based filtering method for continuous-time dynamical systems that is effective in removing additive, uncorrelated noise from time-series data.

Topological rainbow based on coupling of topological waveguide and cavity

open access: yesOptics Express, 2023
Topological photonics and topological photonic states have opened up a new frontier for optical manipulation and robust light trapping. The topological rainbow can separate different frequencies of topological states into different positions. This work combines a topological photonic crystal waveguide (topological PCW) with the optical cavity.

On The Stability Of Fixed Points In Topological Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Kufa for Mathematics and Computer, 2014
In this papers we introduced new concepts of stability: strongly stable, c-stable, and c-strongly stable. We discussed the stability of fixed points with respect to each of a topology and a base for that topology.

VGAE-AMF: A Novel Topology Reconstruction Algorithm for Invulnerability of Ocean Wireless Sensor Networks Based on Graph Neural Network

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2023
Ocean wireless sensor networks (OWSNs) play an important role in marine environment monitoring, underwater target tracking, and marine defense. OWSNs not only monitor the surface information in real time but also act as an important relay layer for ...

MATCHA: Speeding Up Decentralized SGD via Matching Decomposition Sampling [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Conference on Intelligent Cloud Computing, 2019
Decentralized stochastic gradient descent (SGD) is a promising approach to learn a machine learning model over a network of workers connected in an arbitrary topology.

Degree-Based Topological Indices [PDF]

open access: yesCroatica Chemica Acta, 2013
The degree of a vertex of a molecular graph is the number of first neighbors of this vertex. A large number of molecular-graph-based structure descriptors (topological indices) have been conceived, depending on vertex degrees. We summarize their main properties, and provide a critical comparative study thereof.

Topological insulators based on HgTe [PDF]

open access: yesUspekhi Fizicheskih Nauk, 2019
Abstract The most interesting experimental results obtained in studies of 2D and 3D topological insulators (TIs) based on HgTe quantum wells and films are reviewed. In the case of 2D TIs, these include the observation of nonlocal ballistic and diffusion transport, the magnetic breakdown of 2D TIs, and an anomalous temperature dependence ...

The hyperspaces Cn(X) for finite ray-graphs

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2013
In this paper we consider the hyperspace Cn(X) of non-empty and closed subsets of a base space X with up to n connected components. The class of base spaces we consider we call finite ray-graphs, and are a noncompact variation on finite graphs.

Isoskeletal Schiff base polynuclear coordination clusters: synthetic and theoretical aspects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This work addresses and enlightens synthetic aspects derived from our effort to systematically construct isoskeletal tetranuclear coordination clusters (CCs) of the general formula [TR2Ln2(LX)4(NO3)2(solv)2] possessing a specific defected dicubane ...

Topological groups with a bc-base [PDF]

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 2015
Approximately 10 years ago, Zambakhidze asked whether every non-zero-dimensional topological group with a bc-base is locally compact. Below we show that the small inductive dimension ind of any non-locally compact group with such a base doesn't exceed 1.
