Modeling of regional magnetic field applying spherical functions: theoretical aspect

open access: yesГеофизический журнал, 2019
Observation of geomagnetic field, measurement of its components values and establishment on their base models of geomagnetic field as well as geomagnetic mapping are the main trend of geomagnetic studies.

Electroacupuncture Ameliorates Cognitive Impairment in Vascular Dementia Rats: Potential Involvement of the Astrocyte–Synapse Axis

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
Electroacupuncture significantly ameliorates cognitive impairment and synaptic damage in vascular dementia rats, showing specific advantages over nimodipine. These neuroprotective effects are closely associated with modulating the astrocyte–synapse axis to suppress neuroinflammation and enhance neurotrophic support.

Branching rules for symmetric functions and sln basic hypergeometric series

open access: yes, 2011
A one-parameter rational function generalisation Rλ(X;b) of the symmetric Macdonald polynomial and interpolation Macdonald polynomial is studied from the point of view of branching rules.

Loss of Brain‐Derived Estrogen Is Associated With Sex‐ and Age‐Dependent Alterations in Memory, Affective Behavior, and Hippocampal Extracellular Matrix Gene Expression

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 6, June 2026.
Age, sex, and estrogen loss are widely recognized risk factors for Alzheimer's disease. Here, we show that brain‐specific aromatase knockout (bArKO) and the resulting estrogen loss lead to memory impairment, reduced social interaction, and extracellular environment dysregulation selectively in aged female mice, but not in young female or male mice ...

Proteomic Profiling of Plasma to Uncover Novel Intervention Targets and Prognostic Biomarkers for Chronic Liver Diseases

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 28, Issue 6, Page 5029-5042, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims The burden of chronic liver disease (CLD) is increasing. This study aims to identify protein markers for CLD and its progression, and develop a protein‐based risk prediction model. Materials and Methods We used proteome‐wide Mendelian randomization (MR), Bayesian colocalization and summary‐data‐based MR with proteomic data from deCODE ...

Cyclotomic valuation of q-Pochhammer symbols and q-integrality of basic hypergeometric series

open access: yes, 2022
We give a formula for the cyclotomic valuation of $q$-Pochhammer symbols in terms of (generalized) Dwork maps. We also obtain a criterion for the $q$-integrality of basic hypergeometric series in terms of certain step functions, which generalize Christol

Tandemly duplicated TaERF109 genes confer drought tolerance and post‐drought recovery in wheat

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, Volume 68, Issue 6, Page 1744-1761, June 2026.
Tandemly duplicated TaERF109 transcription factor genes in wheat modulate growth traits and enhance drought tolerance by regulating the TaMADS56 transcription factor gene, cytokinin biosynthesis‐related genes, and nicotianamine synthase genes, revealing the critical role of tandemly duplicated genes in the coordination of stress responses and ...

Residue sums for superconformal indices

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study superconformal indices of four-dimensional SU (N) gauge theories with N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1, 2, 4 supersymmetry. The usual representation of a gauge theory index involves multiple contour integrals and reflects the BPS spectrum at zero Yang ...

Benzoxazinoid‐mediated microbiome feedbacks enhance Arabidopsis growth and defence

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 250, Issue 5, Page 3334-3348, June 2026.
Summary Plants modulate their surrounding microbiome via root exudates and such conditioned soil microbiomes feed back on the performance of the next generation of plants. How plants perceive altered soil microbiomes and modulate their performance in response to such microbiome feedbacks, however, remains largely unknown.

Multivariate basic hypergeometric series associated to root systems of type Am

open access: yes, 2004
In previous paper [Ann. Comb. 4 (2000) 347–373], we established and proved two new q-beta integrals and two multivariate basic hypergeometric series associated with the root system of Am.
