The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

[Laypeople and basic life support].
Training laypeople to give first aid in emergency situations and offer basic life support (BLS) is crucial in order to save lives and avoid sequelae. The objective was to identify laypeople's knowledge about BLS. Structured interviews were performed using non-technical language. The sample consisted of 385 subjects.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Basic Life Support in 9th Grade: Teaching Methodologies from Students’ View
Introduction: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed by bystanders is more effective than any other therapeutic intervention following an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. International organizations emphasize the need for high-quality training for
