Optimizing light spectra for soybean cultivation in controlled environments: Effects on plant growth, flowering, seed production, and seed quality

open access: yesAnnals of Applied Biology, Volume 189, Issue 3, November 2026.
Cultivating soybean in a controlled environment enables precise control of growth conditions to accelerate breeding and enhance desirable traits. This study tested four LED spectra on two soybean varieties (CZ 75 70LL and S16‐14801C). The 40B:40R:20FR spectrum increased seed number by over 10% and seed weight by 20%, while both 50B:50R and 40B:40R:20FR

Ability of the PulseCO Algorithm to Assess Changes in Stroke Volume Induced by Changes in Vascular Tone

open access: yesActa Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, Volume 70, Issue 10, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Vasoconstriction during anesthesia can influence stroke volume (SV) by preload modulation, making accurate SV monitoring essential to guide vasopressor therapy. Since gold standard methods like pulmonary artery catheterization and lithium dilution provide only intermittent estimates, continuous and less invasive arterial pulse ...
