Multiplexed Nanosensors for Real‐Time Monitoring of VOC‐Mediated Signalling Response in Plants

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 9907-9931, December 2026.
ABSTRACT To enhance crop performance, intercropping strategies leverage volatile organic compound (VOC)‐driven interactions with companion plants that constitutively emit VOCs. Despite the agricultural importance, the mechanisms and kinetics of VOC‐mediated sensory transduction in receiver plants eavesdropping on neighbouring non‐kin emitters remain ...

Network Indices and Diversity Follow Distinct Patterns for Bee–Plant Networks Along a Neotropical Elevational Gradient

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2026.
Ecological studies of how interactions, communities, and species change along elevational gradients are still missing from some key organisms and ecosystems. We quantify bee–plant interactions and bee diversity patterns along a low elevation Neotropical mountain.

Evaluation of Performance of a Polymer‐Based Fixative (FIXSCENT) on the Controlled Release Kinetics and Longevity of Top and Heart Notes of Alcoholic Perfume

open access: yesFlavour and Fragrance Journal, Volume 41, Issue 6, Page 1552-1562, November 2026.
Effects of varying concentrations of a polymer‐based fixative (FIXSCENT) were studied on perfume samples and the results indicated a sustained release pattern and a significant delay in the release of both top and heart notes upon addition of 5% FIXSCENT.
