Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

High-quality development path for methanol and reconfiguration of its storage and transportation system driven by the “dual carbon” goals

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun
ObjectiveAmid the “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” strategy and energy structure transformation, China faces challenges such as new energy power consumption hurdles and low utilization rates of traditional oil and gas pipelines.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Current status and prospects of technological development for batch transportation of methanol via product oil pipelines

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun
ObjectiveWith the accelerated implementation of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategies, the consumption mix of traditional oil and gas resources has undergone significant changes, reflected in a slowing growth rate of oil and gas demand and a ...

Spatial and single‐nuclei transcriptomics reveals idiosyncratic and generic patterns in papillary and anaplastic thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Analytic Research on Adaptability of Key Equipment for Sequential Methanol Transportation in Product Oil Pipelines

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun
[Objective] Some refined oil pipelines in China operate at low load rates. Utilizing these pipelines for batch transportation of methanol not only supports long-distance, large-scale methanol storage and transportation, but also maximizes pipeline asset ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.
