Battery power requirements in high-performance electric vehicles [PDF]

open access: yes2016 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo (ITEC), 2016
International standards and guidelines regarding characterisation and cycle life testing of batteries in electric vehicles (EVs) currently do not take into account high-performance driving. Using simulation software, track driving in a high-performance vehicle is simulated, and speed-time profiles are recorded.
