Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

PENERAPAN METODE PENDUGAAN AREA KECIL (SMALL AREA ESTIMATION) PADA PENENTUAN PROPORSI RUMAH TANGGA MISKIN DI KABUPATEN KLUNGKUNG

open access: yesE-Jurnal Matematika, 2013
Small area is an area with insufficient sample for direct estimation. Limited survey objects, cause direct estimation can not produce better parameter estimates.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Evaluation of elicitation methods to quantify Bayes linear models

open access: yes, 2010
The Bayes linear methodology allows decision makers to express their subjective beliefs and adjust these beliefs as observations are made. It is similar in spirit to probabilistic Bayesian approaches, but differs as it uses expectation as its primitive ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

A Novel Hybrid Approach: Instance Weighted Hidden Naive Bayes

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
Naive Bayes (NB) is easy to construct but surprisingly effective, and it is one of the top ten classification algorithms in data mining. The conditional independence assumption of NB ignores the dependency between attributes, so its probability estimates

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Estimating the Modified Weibull Parameters in Presence of Constant-Stress Partially Accelerated Life Testing

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Theory and Applications (JSTA), 2018
Accelerated life testing is very important in life testing experiments because it saves time and cost. In this paper, assuming that the lifetime of items under use condition follows the modified Weilbull distribution, partially accelerated life tests ...

Analysis of WE Parameters of Life Using Adaptive-Progressively Type-II Hybrid Censored Mechanical Equipment Data

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
A new two-parameter weighted-exponential (WE) distribution, as a beneficial competitor model to other lifetime distributions, namely: generalized exponential, gamma, and Weibull distributions, is studied in the presence of adaptive progressive Type-II ...
