To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

The development of Richards Bay, on the Mhlatuze Lagoon in Zululand, as a harbour was an event of the 1970s. Before this it had primarily been used as a fishing and vacationing spot by the inhabitants of nearby Empangeni. However, there had been numerous attempts to establish a harbour on the Mhlatuze Lagoon but none of them got beyond the planning ...

Constructing graphs with no immersion of large complete graphs [PDF]
In 1989, Lescure and Meyniel proved, for $d=5, 6$, that every $d$-chromatic graph contains an immersion of $K_d$, and in 2003 Abu-Khzam and Langston conjectured that this holds for all $d$.

Lessons Learned: Quality Analysis of Optical Coherence Tomography in Neuromyelitis Optica
ABSTRACT Introduction Optical coherence tomography (OCT)‐derived retina measurements are markers for neuroaxonal visual pathway status. High‐quality OCT scans are essential for reliable measurements, but their acquisition is particularly challenging in eyes with severe visual impairment, as often observed in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders ...

Fluid and aero-acoustic analysis of internal bays: Geometric length-to-depth effects [PDF]
Weapon bays are essential for any bomber, Next Generation Fighter Aircraft, and unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs). As flow approaches the leading edge of such cavity, it separates and forms a shear layer. The structure of bays and residing stores thus

Discovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid was obtained from PREDICT‐HD and

Spatial and seasonal abundance of sand seatrout (Cynoscion arenarius) and silver seatrout (C. nothus) off the coast of Texas, determined with twenty years of data (1987–200 [PDF]
Sand seatrout (Cynoscion arenarius) and silver seatrout (C. nothus) are both found within the immediate offshore areas of the Gulf of Mexico, especially around Texas; however information is limited on how much distributional overlap really occurs ...
