Methodology of calculation of processes in scanning system of sterilizing installation based on linear standingwave RF accelerator is described. Computer code "BEAM SCANNING" based on this methodology is created. Results of preliminary calculations with the use of this code are presented.

Summary A survey and analysis of methods of optical deflection of light beams is presented in this paper. Coherent light beams could be used for small or large screen displays similar to the electron beam magnetic or electrostatic deflection, if light beam deflection methods are available with adequate deflection angle.
